#Episode 139: The Painful Side Of Personal Development
Personal development is ONLY about focusing on the positive, vision boards, and manifestation.
WRONG!
Imagining you’re planting a garden. There are weeds in your garden. You can choose to ignore them, but they’ll still grow. Eventually, they’ll need to be cut and given attention. They won’t disappear by only focusing on the flowers.
The same goes for you.
If you want to create a successful and fulfilling life, you must give attention to the positive (flowers) and the negative (weeds).
Of course, you’ll focus the majority of your time on the design and the flowers.
But, you must give enough attention to the other side of yourself IF you want to eliminate that emptiness that we all feel at times.
How many "successful" people who have it all on the outside, but find themselves depressed and unfulfilled? The list goes on.
In this podcast episode, we share personal stories and tips on how to navigate the painful side of living on your edge. #TheLindsayAndTonyPodcast

#Episode 138: Self Education Is The New Currency
Have you ever thought, “I don’t have a degree in ___ so I can’t do it?”
Or “I wish I had the money to go to college, or a trade school?”
We both have degrees in education and taught in the school systems for over 10 years combined.
When it comes to real life: The # 1 insight we came to is “it’s not about how many degrees you have, but how many problems you can solve.”
Of course if you’re going to be a doctor, lawyer, public school teacher, or anything along those lines, you’ll need your degree.
But for everyone else, this is not the case. We live in the information age. You can learn how to do anything for FREE! Of course you must have the instincts to distinguish valid information from invalid.
Have you seen that story about the single mom who built a 2 story house, with I believe 4 of her kids? They built 80% of the house using YOUTube videos (DIY project).
In this episode, we’ll share some personal stories and more about how self education is transforming the world. #TheLindsayAndTonyPodcast

#Episode 136: The Power Of Taking Breaks
Do you ever feel like you don’t have time to take a break?!
As previous teachers in the public school systems we totally understand! Whether you’re a stay at home mom/dad, entrepreneur, single and ready to mingle, EVERYONE NEEDS strategic breaks throughout the day, month, and year.
Here’s the thing, TIME IS IRRELEVANT. We all have the same time. YOUR ENERGY IS YOUR SPEED.
If you think you’ll fall behind by taking breaks maybe you should ask yourself the question behind who and what?
We work with high achievers all of the time and we consistently work to SLOW THEM DOWN for a moment.
Ironically, after slowing down and taking strategic breaks, we noticed a common pattern. The results increase in every area!
They have more money flowing in, increased energy levels, and ironically more TIME AND SPACE.
What a paradox!
In this episode, we want to help You find your own inner compass, so you’ll know exactly when to take breaks and when not to. #TheLindsayAndTonyPodcast

The holiday seasons can be the most difficult times of the year, especially during 2020 when some families will not be able to spend time together.
On Thanksgiving, along with a few family members, we experienced profound connections with our passed loved ones and understand the love and fulfillment that comes with it. We also understand that it’s a lot to handle dealing with all of the emotions that arise during the holidays while connecting with passed loved ones.
You’re happy that you’re connecting, but sad there not here, while wishing you could just hug them one last time.
Processing all of the emotions is a skill that can be developed over time and one you must treat with patience and gentleness.

#Episode 131: Successful People Make Decisions Quickly
Do you ever go back and forth when making decisions?
Napoleon Hill, author of the book “Think And Grow Rich,” analyzed more than 25,000 men and women who had experienced failure. The common denominator was their lack of prompt decision making.
Success in relationships, health, and career are all drastically influenced by your ability to make decisions.
Hill's analysis of several hundred people who had accumulated fortunes revealed that every single one of them had the habit of making decisions promptly, and changing them slowly, if ever at all.
Why do “unsuccessful” people struggle with making decisions?
In this episode, we’ll share tips on how to make swift decisions that shift your life forever.
